Writing a graded reader’s book on origami felt just right because origami was the first introduction to Japan during childhood. Books create very special spaces. The space it occupies, the content it imparts to build one’s inner and outer life.

This entry level booklet is simply scratching the surface of deep origami history and its vast applications. The translation is in progress to make it readable to entry level learners and whoever is interested in Japanese Traditional Art “dentōteki kōgeihin” (伝統的工芸品). 

Currently the draft is open for Japanese feedback.
Sent an early draft to a Japanese organization in 2024/25 in requesting language feedback. That experience is a peculiar backstory to be told one day!
